There are many types of editors out there in the freelance world, each with their own set of skills and niche specialties. My specialty is Popular Fiction.
But what is Popular Fiction?
Popular Fiction, also known as Genre Fiction, is a term that applies to any work of fiction that falls under one of the literary fiction genres--Romance, Fantasy, Sci-fi, Crime, Horror, Adventure, Thriller, Historical, etc. These books primary aim is to entertain the reader. They are commercial, mass media, and full of pop culture.
